super yoshi versus the monsters on dad's t-shirt
When I originally drew this I drew myself wearing a t-shirt I own - a stripey one with monsters on, but I felt a little uncomfortable using someone elses design as a central part of the strip (even if it is on a website that three people look at). It wasn't so much a copyright thing (I could probably have doctorowed out of that), but just that they might not want to be associated with me and this site. I am fairly sure it makes no difference to anyone in the world, but it kind of makes it a little satisfying to me...
There is a prize for the first person to email me & identify the real-life t-shirt (i haven't disguised it that much). Obviously people who have seen me wearing the tshirt are ineligible.

ha! definitely one of my favourites. barring maybe the escaping robot monkeys and the guy who hides in someone's mouth to escape death. okay so top three for sure. does yoshi really have a full blown superman costume?
Yeah, Yoshi does actually have this costume - he got it second/third/fourth hand so it's a little worse for wear (no cape) but he still loves it.
